T minus 37 days

Well, that's it. I am now officially unemployed. Luckily the wife has still got a job. Wait, hang on a minute...

Now the countdown officially starts until we leave for Japan. Blast off is on 6th May. Loads still to arrange: visas, the last of the jabs, rucksack testing and much much more. To be honest, most of the preparation is done and hopefully all the loose ends will be tied up in a week or two. Better be or Karen might explode.

Oh, and I have to learn Mandarin. I'll do that on the plane.
